The men of Grace Baptist Church will be starting a new study for the men’s prayer breakfast. Join us as we learn valuable lessons from the first 9 chapters of the book of Joshua. We know Joshua as being a great man, great leader, and military conquerer; yet God gave him clear directions as to how he was to to achieve this victory. As men, we need and desire spiritual victory in our lives, but we must achieve victory God’s way.
If you are interesting in studying with us, you may purchase the study guide in the church office. Because of the rush of the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, the Men’s study will not meet on the last Saturdays of November and December. We will meat on Saturday, December 4th, and then resume or normal schedule beginning at the end of January. The complete schedule and location of the studies can be found on our men’s ministry page.
The following is a brief description of the study from the publisher.
“Travel with Joshua as he triumphantly leads Israel into the Promised Land — fulfilling the promise God made four hundred years earlier. This study teaches how to live by faith during times of intense spiritual conflict. You’ll learn how to live victoriously in times of spiritual warfare, how to worship during times of severe testing, and how to live by faith in the presence of your enemies. But be warned: in life you will face two formidable spiritual enemies that can threaten every Christian’s plan for spiritual victory.” (lamplightersusa.org)
