Summer is heating up and the youth ministry is gearing up! We’re looking forward to a great summer together in our Wednesday evening meetings! Many people view summer as a vacation time, not only from their studies, but also from investing in their spiritual lives. We don’t want that to be ignorant of the fact that the devil works all the time, and even overtime – especially in times like the summer when we have extra time, and freedom from some of our normal responsibilities.
The summer program involves dividing the youth up into four different teams who will seek to earn points by: Scripture memory, attendance, devotional life, service projects, bringing friends, giving financially, and exciting games.
The main study topic for the summer centers around Biblical Hermeneutics – the art of studying, interpreting, and applying the Bible correctly to our lives.
