The GBC Couple’s Class has presented a wide variety of opportunities for couples to be challenged their marriage relationship, parenting focus, Biblical manhood and womanhood, and in personal spiritual growth. One topic has evaded much attention so far in the class – the topic of parenting during the “teenage” years.
We do understand that the word “teenager” is a fairly modern invention of our culture, and that many of the the same principles one would use for parenting younger children apply to raising older children. In all reality, “teens” are now young adults. Yet, those in the “young adult” years are struggling with unique challenges, choices, and situations that differ greatly from those of younger children.
We do believe some of the principles of our new class, “Parenting Your Teenager” will help, encourage, and prepare parents in all stages of parenting. Please join us for the class as we learn and grow together. The class begins on Sunday, April 22nd at 9:30am and will continue for several weeks.
