WELCOME

A cheerful greeting is a good companion to any deed of kindness. Add to them a genuine expression of appreciation and you have a trio that makes good music at church, at home, and in the community. Try to smile and say “Hello, it’s good to see you!” with “May I help you?” and “There is something that I really appreciate about you”.

“Let brotherly love continue.  Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for some have entertained angels unawares. Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.” Hebrews 13:1-3

CHILDREN’S CHURCH                           

Beginning today for the betterment of our workers and families, the children’s church classes have been restructured. We will have two groups instead of three, and they will be divided up as follows: 2-4 yr. olds will be above the nursery and  5 yr. olds and Kindergarten -2nd grade will be in the fellowship hall. Both groups will be dismissed during the worship service.. Third graders  will stay in the church service.

AWANA

DEVOTIONS                                             

The Daily Bread for March-April-May and Keys for Kids for March-April are available in the tract rack. Please remember, just one copy per family of the Keys for Kids; we have a limited supply. Thank you!

“COUNT IT ALL JOY”                            

Rebecca Straub will be our speaker this year at the annual Ladies’ Retreat. The theme is “Count It All Joy”. Mark these dates on your calendar: Friday and Saturday, April 13th-14th. Don’t miss out on a blessing! Registration and cost information will be available soon.

SCRIP

Amanda Hanson will be at the Scrip Table today after the morning worship service. We have many scrip cards to choose from! Kwik Trip has extended the 9% contribution through December 2012 for organizations that purchase gift cards from Great Lakes.

AUCTION BOARD

There are 4 items that have been posted on the Auction Board this week; a 12-DVD set of WWII, a small TV, ambient speakers for your computer, and an abs exerciser. Bidding on these items will be open just 2 more weeks. We could use more items for the auction board! Thank you for supporting our school.

TEACHER FEATURE

Today we would like tell you a little bit about Mr. Andy Rogers, our high school history teacher for the past 2 years. Andy and his wife, Abby, have a 2 yr. old son, Noah, and a 6-week old daughter, Ella. Andy grew up in a pastor’s home in Willmar, Minnesota, and graduated from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College; he is currently taking online night classes through Maranatha Seminary. In addition to coaching the boys’ basketball team, you will find Andy and Abby active in AWANA each Wednesday, and in our 2 and 3 yr. old children’s church program.
